Bev - it's just an app. It's free. You take pictures and can edit them (make them b&w, add a blur, etc.) and then they go onto a feed. People can follow you and "like" your photos. There is also a section called the Popular Page that displays photos that have received a whole bunch of "likes."
That's so cool! Maybe I need to get on the instagram band wagon...
